Hot off the press (as of July 25, 2011): "Clinical Report - Health Supervision For Children With Down Syndrome". We will be sending a copy to Matthew's pediatrician. I am assuming that most doctors are appreciative of updated and important information shared with them.

Thanks for posting this!! You are always so on top of things. love it.
I am an author and the proud father of a 38-year-old daughter with Down syndrome. I have written a novel in ebook form, A SPY AT HOME, which is available on Amazon. In this book I have a central character, Noah, who has Down. I would like to invite you to read this ebook, and I would be very interested in your thoughts about the story. I can be reached directly at rinald47@gmail.com.
Thank you for your blog and for sharing your child with Down syndrome.

Hi, Ria. On the way to San Antonio, I actually spoke with Micah's neurodev (who ran the Ds medical interest group meeting at NDSC on Friday) about the article. They were going to discuss it there. It's the first time in a long time that the AAP has updated the medical recommendations for children with Ds. Micah's doc was concerned about them leaving off the recommendation for c-spine x-rays. I didn't have an opportunity to ask Dr. M about their conversation later in the conference.
Anyway... share with M's doc. But be on the lookout for some sort of "response" from the Ds medical community.
Hi Ria,
This is great. The website is a great source of all things related to pediatrics. Thank you! I was able to search for articles related to ASD as well.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
